All items are designed and made by the owner Alysha Ouimet.

Driven to create items with personality, my designs feature bold colours, are a celebration of materials, and incorporate original artwork. Many items are made to order. Custom orders are welcome!

As a member of a thriving creative community, every effort is made to source products locally and purchase materials from local suppliers. 

Why Cimeon?

Growing up with French as a second language, I would often lean on French pronunciation and spelling when I encountered new words. I heard the word ‘simian’, which I decided must be spelt ‘cimeon’, at about 8 years old. It reminds me that we all view the world through the lens of our own experiences and to appreciate the little details that make things unique. 

I respectfully acknowledge that I reside and work in Amiskwaciwâskahikan in Treaty 6 Territory, the traditional and ancestral lands and gathering place of diverse First Nations, Métis, and Inuit, whose histories, languages, and cultures continue to enrich my community.
